![]() I remember there was a period of a couple levels early on where I had to run around opening up the map and doing fetch quests in areas WAY too high level to actually consider killing anything. ![]() ![]() You also have to bounce around half-completing dungeons, running out on the boss, then come back a few levels later to finish it. You definitely have to plan out your builds in advance, you can't afford to buy points in spells you won't use, you can't afford to waste points on garbage like Nature Lore or First Aid, you have to know exactly how much Arcane Lore you need to read tomes, you absolutely need at least two people with enough Priest points for Unshackle Mind (and preferably Mass Healing), and you need to get Adrenaline Rush for everyone in your party through a combination of weapon bonuses and paid training. I guess the question is have I leveled up my party the wrong way and will simply have to restart? I've read that upgrading the correct attributes is essential on torment, if so I would REALLY appreciate some tips on how you went about completing the game.cheers! My party is composed of a berserker (dual wield), rogue (sword, shield, tool skill 10), hedge wizard (priest spells with a bit of mage) and sorceror. Down south we've got the undead problem (spiral pit etc.), any undead other than zombies and similar overpower my little fellas, ogres similarly destroy my party before they can act, and so it goes on. The last thing I successfully completed was the Undead Curse quest and now there remain only the slith quests ( any party of sliths annihilates my party, whatever the composition of their force), so they're out. I cleared out the nephilim fort, but was unable to defeat blossthus the mage, I managed to defeat all the nepharim in the underground fort, except their chieftain, who again is simply too strong. The problem is I seem to have reached a point in the game where my level 10 party is simply too weak to attempt any of the remaining quests. That lesson learned I decided to go straight on to torment for my next playthrough and I have to say the difficulty is really suffocating me.so much so i'm posting here to ask you torment veterans what can be done. I bought this game on a whim a few weeks ago (not having ever played any of spiderweb's previous games) and loved every minute of the 90 hours or so it took me to complete (on normal), though a lot of those hours were fruitlessly attempting and reattempting battles when my party was too weak. ![]()
